Individual Development Accounts

With C.A.L.L.’s Individual Development account program,

 

You can save money for:

    v   Down payment on a house, or repairs to a home you already own.

v   Starting your own small business.

v   Paying for college, community college, vocational training, or to become re-certified in a profession.

v   Purchasing a computer to be used to support post-high school education or a small business.

v   Purchasing a car needed to maintain or upgrade your employment.

 

And CALL will provide money to match your savings, up to $2,000 for an individual saver and $4,000 for a household!

 

To qualify, you must:

    v   be a refugee or former refugee who is not yet a citizen;

v   be employed;

v    earn less than 200 % of the federal poverty guidelines. ($23,880 per year for a family of 2, $36,200 for a family of 4.)

All savings are held in accounts at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, and are fully insured by the US government.
