Microenterprise Loan Fund

The program provides small loans of up to $5,000 to successful graduates of the Microenterprise Training Program. Currently, eleven (11) loans have been made to the Microenterprise Training graduates to start or strengthen their businesses. A Microenterprise Advisory Committee was formed with local bankers, business owners, and community leaders to review loan applications and make the loan decisions. MassBank for Savings has agreed to service the loan repayments. Seven (7) bank members have pledged to contribute additional funds in the form of a line of credit as needed for additional loan funds. BankBoston and Fleet Bank have made a generous grant to CALL's loan fund.
